On behalf of the entire Scientific Committee of NOSCON 2025, I am honored and delighted to serve as the Scientific Chair for this exciting academic event, organized by the Nepal Ophthalmic Society (NOS) - the 27th Annual Conference, in conjunction with the 16th Eastern Ophthalmic Conference, to be held in Birtamode ,Mechi on November 13th, 14th, and 15th, 2025.

This year's conference is particularly special, as we proudly announce a collaborative retina session in partnership with the Nepal Vitreo-Retina Society (NVRS) — a meaningful step towards strengthening ties with our sister societies.

Our theme for this year is: "Bridging the Gap in Eye Care: Innovations and Challenges." Through this theme, we aim to bring together experts from all ophthalmic subspecialties to explore cutting-edge advancements, share practical experiences, and discuss the real-world challenges in delivering accessible and quality eye care.

The conference will span two and a half days, featuring:

• Scientific sessions
• Keynote lectures
• Interactive panels
• Hands-on workshops

We envision this platform as a vibrant opportunity to learn, share, and connect with colleagues from across Nepal and beyond.

To ensure an efficient and inclusive scientific experience, all submissions and updates related to the scientific program will be managed through our official conference website.
