Namaste and Greetings from Nepal
On behalf of the Nepal Ophthalmic Society, and as an Organiziing Chair, it is my immense honor and pleasure to extend a heartfelt welcome to our distinguished guests, esteemed faculty, dedicated members, young colleagues, and all participants to this remarkable confluence of knowledge and collaboration.
It is our great pleasure and honor to welcome you to the 9th Asia Pacific Ocular Trauma Society (APOTS) Meeting, held in conjunction with the 28th Annual Conference of Nepal Conference (NOSCON) and the 6th Nepalese Oculoplasy Annual conference (NESOSCON), from 12–14 November 2026 at The Soaltee Kathmandu, Nepal.
We are incredibly proud and thrilled to host the these three society conference, which this year shines even brighter with its convergence. and this tripartite meeting symbolizes a powerful synergy, bringing together the brightest minds from general ophthalmology, ocular trauma, and oculoplasty under one roof in the majestic Himalayas.
This joint meeting represents a remarkable platform for sharing knowledge, advancing clinical practice, and fostering collaboration in the field of ophthalmology and related subspecialties. The carefully designed scientific program features keynote lectures, symposia, workshops, and poster sessions that highlight the latest innovations, research findings, and best practices from across the region and beyond. We look forward to stimulating panel discussions, insightful paper and poster presentations from our young researchers, and hands-on workshops – wet labs designed to enhance our skills. This conference is not just an academic exercise; it is a platform to forge lasting friendships, initiate collaborative research, and build networks that will elevate the standard of eye care in our region.
By uniting the core of general ophthalmology with the critical expertise of trauma care and the refined artistry of oculoplasty, we create a powerful forum for holistic learning. Our goal is to break down silos, foster interdisciplinary dialogue, and innovate for the complex eye care challenges of our time.
Nepal, a country renowned for its natural beauty, rich culture, and warm hospitality, is delighted to host this prestigious gathering. We hope that alongside a rewarding academic experience, you will also enjoy the rich ancient cultural heritage, warm hospitality, lively spirit, cuisine, and scenic attractions that Nepal has to offer.
