Message from NESOS President
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to the Joint Congress of 9th (Asia Pacific Ophthalmic Trauma Society Conference (APOTSCON), 28thNepal Ophthalmic Society Conference (NOSCON), and 6th Nepalese Society for Oculoplastic Surgeons Conference (NESOSCON), which will be held from 12–14 November 2026. This important gathering brings together three distinguished ophthalmic societies with a shared commitment to advancing ophthalmology, promoting academic excellence, and strengthening professional collaboration across the region.
This congress will serve as a vibrant platform for ophthalmologists, researchers, and trainees to exchange knowledge, discuss emerging technologies, and share clinical experiences. Through scientific sessions, panel discussions, and interactive workshops, participants will have the opportunity to learn from leading national and international experts while also showcasing their own valuable work.
The collaboration between APOTS, NOS, and NESOS reflects our collective vision to promote innovation in ophthalmic practice, enhance surgical skills, and foster meaningful professional relationships. By bringing together diverse expertise and perspectives, we aim to create an enriching academic environment that benefits both experienced specialists and young ophthalmologists.
Beyond the scientific program, the congress will also offer a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with colleagues, build new partnerships, and experience the warm hospitality and rich cultural heritage of Nepal.
I extend my sincere gratitude to the organizing committee, faculty members, and partners whose dedication and hard work are making this event possible. I warmly invite all colleagues to participate actively and contribute to making this congress a memorable and successful academic gathering.
I look forward to welcoming you in November 2026.
with warm regards,
Dr. Eliya Shrestha
