It is my privilege to welcome you all, to the conference of the Asia Pacific Ocular Trauma Society. This convention brings together leading clinicians, researchers, and allied eye-care professionals around the world, who are dedicated to advancing the prevention, diagnosis, and management of ocular trauma.

The scientific sessions are carefully designed in order to provide a comprehensive and stimulating platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience. We aim to highlight the latest advances in clinical practice, surgical innovations, and translational research in different aspects ocular trauma, through keynote lectures, symposia, panel discussions, free paper sessions, and interactive case-based discussions.

Ocular trauma continues to be a significant cause of preventable visual impairment worldwide, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region. Therefore, by fostering collaboration and sharing best practices, this conference provides an important opportunity to address emerging challenges and to improve outcomes for patients affected by eye injuries.

I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to the members of the scientific committee, faculty, reviewers, and organizers whose dedication and hard work have made this program possible.

I hope this scientific get-together will inspire fruitful discussions, encourage new collaborations, and contribute to advancing the field of ocular trauma care.
