In view of the global health emergency due to the ongoing Novel Corona Virus outbreak,
the NOSACON 2020 has been postponed. New dates and venue will be confirmed soon. The inconvinence caused is deeply regretted.

Message from NOS President

It is my immense pleasure to announce that the Nepal Ophthalmic Society has decided to hold its annual conference every year during the last week of April or the first week of May. For the year 2020, Bharatpur Eye Hospital in Chitawan has been trusted with the responsibility of organizing the annual conference on May 1-2, 2020.

Chitawan is one of the tourist hubs of Nepal and the month of May is quite suitable in terms of the weather. It is very famous for jungle safaris, bird watching, rafting and for elephant safaris. We believe that these will be a subject of attraction for the international delegates from all over the world. I would like to invite the interested delegates to participate in this conference with their scientific deliberations so that the conference will be a great learning opportunity for all of us. Ophthalmology today has been advancing more rapidly than ever before because of just as rapid progress in science and technology. Therefore, we have to work harder to keep pace with this advancement and this is possible only through the exchange of knowledge and skills amongst the ophthalmic community from home and abroad. This conference, I believe, will be a common platform for face-to-face dissemination of our research studies and innovations in the field of ophthalmology.

I look forward to welcoming you all in the conference. Let us make this conference a huge success through our combined efforts and make it a memorable event for all of us.
