Guidelines for Abstract Submission

  1. Abstract submission portal at opens from 1st July 2023 and extended to 31st August 2023.
  2. Only Original articles shall be accepted for oral presentation. Case reports and original articles both can be presented as poster.
  3. Abstract word count should be less than 150 for case report/series and less than 250 for original articles.
  4. Avoid figures, tables or charts in the abstract.
  5. Authors shall be solely responsible for the contents and opinion expressed in the abstract.
  6. Submitted abstracts would be peer-reviewed by the Scientific Committee.
  7. The scientific committee of NOSCON 2023 hold sole responsibility for acceptance or rejection of the abstract and shall communicate with the corresponding (first) author regarding any changes to be made to the abstract including the category of the abstract.
  8. Corresponding author shall be notified about the abstract submission results once the submission deadline closes.
  9. Abstract submission should be made online at only.
  10. Abstract should be structured as follows:
    1. Title Concise, providing insight to the research, avoid abbreviations
    2. Author's name Full names of authors, up to 6 authors allowed, first author shall be the presenting and corresponding author
    3. Author’s affiliation Post, department and affiliated institute
    4. First author's correspondence address (email address and phone number)
    5. Introduction brief introduction to the research/case report highlighting its importance (3-4 sentences)
    6. Objective (for original articles only)
    7. Methods (for original article only)
    8. Results (for original article only)
    9. Case description (for case report/series only)
    10. Conclusion
    11. Key words (3 key words for the abstract – preferably MeSH terms)
    12. Category either oral presentation or poster (for confirmation)
    13. Word count From Introduction till conclusion and not of the whole document, word count should be less than 150 for case report/series and less than 250 for original articles.
